As the winter finally began to show signs of relenting I decided that the darker beers could take a back seat. It was time to bring in those lighter color beers that remind me of spring and summer. With that in mind I decided to try out the Irish Draught Ale from Northern Brewer. I had heard about Northern Brewer from a fellow homebrewer and electrical engineer whom I work with. After looking over the site and seeing their prices I decided to give them a try. I ended up purchasing a few things from them besides the Irish Draught Ale Extract kit with crushed grains. I also picked up Iodophor, a carboy brush, and two funnels.
